At Waples manufacturing, our Award Winning Service starts by defining, understanding, and getting agreement on what the customer needs. Then, using our expertise and 60 years of machining excellence, we provide assistance and advice to the customer on how best to take their needs and turn them into finished products; products that are produced on budget and delivered on time.

Waples - Smart Technology

Smart Technology

CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery, from grinders and lathes to mills and routers.

When a CNC system is activated, the desired cuts are programmed into the software and dictated to corresponding tools and machinery, which carry out the dimensional tasks as specified, much like a robot.

At Waples Manufacturing we employ 37 CNC Machine Centers comprised of 17 Mills and 20 Lathes. Our state-of-the-art 4 Axis Machining gives us the ability to machine complex shapes in a single set up while increasing productivity and reducing fixture cost. In most cases secondary operations are eliminated, since Swiss machining can perform multiple operations. Our Smart Technology lets the part comes off the machine ready to ship.
